What are some of your top properties for MIPCOM?

Kung Fu Dino Posse, Doodlebops Rockin’ Road Show, Busytown Mysteries, Arthur and Metajets.

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?

Cookie Jar is bringing a wide variety of programming to MIPCOM that will appeal to buyers and viewers around the world. We have something for everyone. We will be debuting Kung Fu Dino Posse, a hilarious new comedy series following in Johnny Test’s footsteps.

Having found a great deal of success as a live-action series, the Doodlebops are now animated in the new Doodlebops Rockin’ Road Show. It’s a fun and funky musical preschool adventure with outstanding design.

Richard Scarry-inspired Busytown Mysteries is both classic and modern at the same time. Kids are able to relate to the stories and characters and Busytown is a city close to a child’s reality. The series has been successful around the world and will be making its U.S. debut this fall.

Arthur is still one of Cookie Jar’s most valuable properties. The series has been successful for more than 185 episodes and we are currently producing a new season. It airs on networks around the world and has collected a number of awards including multiple Emmys for Outstanding Children’s Animated Program.

Metajets is full of breathtaking adventure, speed and action; a rare combination on television today. It has strong story lines and recently launched on France’s TF1.

What are some of the trends you’re currently seeing in this market?

Comedy and live action are strong and continue to sell. Cookie Jar is pleased to have several new comedies and live-action series in production and development, including Kung Fu Dino Posse and Peter Pepper’s Pet Spectacular. With the instability in the marketplace, people prefer to stick with strong, recognizable brands. This is why Caillou, Arthur and Strawberry Shortcake are appealing to buyers. â€¨
