LIVING Takes Cineflix Package

LONDON: LIVING has signed a new U.K. exclusive rights package deal with Cineflix International that includes more than 30 hours of the fifth season of Nothing to Declare.

Nothing To Declare, known as Border Security in Australia, follows an expert team as they protect Australia’s borders intercepting suspicious travelers, uncovering evidence of drug trafficking, wildlife smuggling and identity fraud. LIVING also went for the third season of RSPCA Animal Rescue, produced by Imagination Television in Australia. The show takes viewers on a journey with the inspectors and veterinarians of Australia’s RSPC, who are making life and death decisions to save animals in jeopardy.

Amy Barham, the head of acquisitions at LIVING, said: "These great banker shows have a dedicated fan base and have really made LIVING their U.K. home. Its great to be able to announce that we have secured more hours of both and we look forward to their continuing success."

Paul Heaney, Cineflix International’s managing director, added: “Virgin Media has put a lot of thought and effort into making these shows an ongoing success. We are increasing our focus on acquiring more of this genre.”
