HISTORY HD Gets New Launch in Korea

NEW YORK/SEOUL: HISTORY HD has secured further carriage in Korea through a new deal with SK Broadband.
The high-definition channel is also available in Korea on Korea Telecom’s IPTV platform, Qook TV, and on SkyLife. Programming from

HISTORY HD is also available via branded VOD services on all three IPTV platforms in Korea, including Broad&TV by SK Broadband, Qook TV and my LG TV. The channel airs 100-percent HD content and is fully languaged in Korean. Shows to air include The Universe, Modern Marvels and Ice Road Truckers.

“HISTORY is a global leader in HD programming with a robust and diverse library that we believe will appeal to SK Broadband subscribers,” said Alan Hodges, the managing director for Asia Pacific at AETN International.
