Fox Business, Tennis Channel Announce Deal

NEW YORK: FOX Business Network (FBN) and Tennis Channel are set to begin sharing select content, bringing U.S. Open recaps to the News Corp.-owned business channel and Wall Street updates to the sports network.

Monday through Friday, FBN’s Money For Breakfast will feature Tennis Channel’s Court Report with recaps from the previous day’s U.S. Open matches. And Tennis Channel will break into U.S. Open coverage at market close to give viewers the FOX Business Network Update, a summary of all the market moves from the day.

This year marks Tennis Channel’s inaugural coverage of the U.S. Open. It will deliver 72 live match hours and 240 hours of high-definition tournament programming overall. “We’re truly looking forward to working with Fox Business Network to share content that’s mutually beneficial to both of our viewer bases,” said Robyn Miller, the senior VP of marketing at Tennis Channel. “This type of joint-programming partnership is the first of its kind for Tennis Channel, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer their business insight and analysis to our audience, while at the same time putting our tennis updates in front of theirs.”
