CBS Announces Fall Premiere Dates

NEW YORK: Survivor: Samoa is receiving a pre-season debut on CBS, ahead of premiere week shows such as Accidentally on Purpose and CSI: Miami, which kick off September 21.

The 19th installment of the reality series Survivor will debut on September 17 at 8 p.m., a week prior to the formal start of the season. CBS’s new rollouts officially begin September 21 with How I Met Your Mother at 8 p.m., the new comedy Accidentally on Purpose at 8:30 p.m., the seventh season of Two and a Half Men at 9 p.m., the third season of The Big Bang Theory in its new time at 9:30 p.m. and the eighth season of CSI: Miami at 10 p.m. 

NCIS kicks off its seventh season on September 22 at 8 p.m., followed by the new spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles at 9 p.m. and freshman drama The Good Wife at 10 p.m. The Wednesday comedy block launches with the fifth season of The New Adventures of Old Christine at 8 p.m., a second season of Gary Unmarried at 8:30 p.m., a fifth-season premiere for Criminal Minds at 9 p.m. and CSI: NYreturning for a sixth season at 10 p.m. 

Returning in its tenth season on September 24 is CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, followed by The Mentalist in a new time slot at 10 p.m. The Friday lineup kicks off with a fifth season of Ghost Whisperer, followed by the network debut of Medium at 9 p.m. and a sixth season of Numb3rs at 10 p.m.

Starting off the weekend on September 26, 48 Hours Mystery returns at 10 p.m., while Sunday features the return of 60 Minutes in its 42nd season. Also on Sunday, a special two-hour debut of the 15th season of The Amazing Race kicks off at 8 p.m., with a seventh season of Cold Case heading to a new period at 10 p.m.

Following on October 4 is the new drama Three Rivers, airing at 9 p.m.
