ABC.com Sets Up Music Lounge

BURBANK: ABC has launched an online destination showcasing the music and artists that are featured in the network’s prime-time shows, kicking off with a tribute to Grey’s Anatomy.

The ABC Music Lounge on ABC.com includes a streaming radio station programmed with more than 12 hours of music featured on shows like Brothers & SistersCastle, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scrubs and Ugly Betty, among others. There will also be music videos, exclusive performance footage, photos and behind-the-scenes interviews with artists, series producers and music supervisors. Visitors to the site will have the ability to purchase featured songs via Amazon MP3, Amazon.com’s digital music store. At launch, the ABC Music Lounge celebrated last night’s 100th episode of Grey’s Anatomy with a complete retrospective of the music featured over the series’ current and previous seasons.
