New Programming SVP at Cineflix

LONDON/TORONTO: Joe Houlihan is joining Cineflix Productions as the senior VP of programming, working across their operations in U.K., U.S. and Canada.

Reporting to Simon Lloyd, the president of programming, Houlihan will have a focus on expanding the production slate in factual entertainment and entertainment. He joins from Twofour Broadcast, where he served as director of programs, responsible for the hit shows Are You Smarter Than a 10-Year-Old?, Big Chef Takes on Little Chef and Built from Disaster, among others. Before Twofour, Houlihan was president of RDF USA, with credits such as Wife Swap USA, Faking It, I Hate My Job and Survival of the Richest.

On the appointment, Lloyd said, “Joe is an exceptional talent. He has an outstanding track record in creating, selling and overseeing returnable hit shows in North America and the U.K. and we are thrilled that he is joining Cineflix. His appointment is testament to the quality and reach of our shows and Cineflix’s ambition moving forward.”
