Canamedia Notches Up New International Deals

TORONTO: Andy Warhol’s Factory People, Planet Luxury and The Bully’s Mark are among the titles Canamedia has closed recent deals on.

The three-part arts/biography title Andy Warhol’s Factory People was sold into Australia, Spain and Denmark, which the one-hour culture doc Enigma: Exorcism heads for Latin America. In the lifestyle vein, Planet Luxury landed new deals in the Middle East and Russia, along with an inflight agreement. Cosmetic Innovations was sold into Malaysia, as was the travel series Discovering Great Towns.

Other travel series scoring deals include Don’t Forget Your Passport and Skier’s World, both for the U.K. market. Angry Planet is set for a Korean launch, while Canadian Sportfishing is heading to Finland. Another Finnish deal was closed for The Bully’s Mark, which also scored a pickup in the Netherlands.

Canamedia’s sales slate is rounded out with a deal in Israel for Bisexual Virgins, in Malaysia for Lofty Ideas and in Australia for The Judy Garland Collection.
