Sam Linsky Expands Role at Turner

LOS ANGELES: Sam Linsky has been upped to senior VP of current programming for TNT and TBS, continuing to be based in Los Angeles.

Promoted from VP of current programming for TNT, Linsky will continue to report to Michael Wright, the executive VP and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). In his time with TNT, Linsky has supervised production of The Closer and Saving Grace. He is also overseeing production of the Steven Bochco legal drama Raising the Bar, Leverage and new series on TNT. Linsky joined TNT in 1997 as the VP of original programming from Castle Rock Entertainment, where he served as assistant to the VP of production.

In this new role, we are acknowledging and formalizing his leadership role at Turner."
