Winners Announced for Content 360

CANNES: Eight winners across seven categories were selected by digital commissioners from the BBC, the Korea Communications Commission (KCC), the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), OgilvyInteractive Worldwide and MSN at Content 360, the international digital and multiplatform content competition.

The winners were chosen from 21 short-listed producers and creators.The BBC chose Sebastien Rouze/Wakeup Pictures of Spain with the project The Weirdest for content that engages teens locally. BBC awarded Chalk and Cheese from David Eccles/Numiko in the U.K. in the way of TV entertainment over broadband, and The Great British Summer Holiday from Andy Glynne/Mosaic Films in the U.K. for factual content via mobile.

KCC selected two recipients for interactive educational formats for cross-media: Career Coaching Clinic from Harry Lee of Telston from South Korea and Turning Teachers into Great Edu-Kloseup Creators from Jung Won Lee of South Korea’s Everyshow.

OgilvyInteractive’s project winner for engaging with women through branded content for Unilever is ME+ out of the U.K., from Rebecca Murdoch and John Paul Li. In the way of interactive documentaries on green issues, NFB selected Kirsty Semple of the U.K.’s Semple Space Creatives for Hand Drawn Earth. Best original comedy for multiplatforms was awarded MSN to the project Kangaroo Court from Al Cox and Peter Way from Collective in the U.K.
