Shaftesbury Sells Life with Derek into Mexico

TORONTO: The free-TV rights to the first two seasons of Shaftesbury Films’ hit live-action comedy Life with Derek has sold to Televisa in Mexico.

The half-hour comedy, about a modern blended family, can now be seen in more than 120 countries worldwide and has been translated into 19 languages. Shaftesbury Sales Company also completed a number of renewals, including Nickelodeon in Australia and New Zealand going for third and fourth seasons, along with SVT in Sweden and eJunior in the United Arab Emirates.
