Cream Productions Staffs Up

Mark Carter, Cream’s head of production since 2005, has been named director of operations.  In this new role, Carter will focus on the growing corporate side of Cream Productions. Prior to joining Cream, Carter worked with Spring River Productions as supervising producer/producer on more than 400 hours of the Lynette Jennings Design series for Discovery Network.

 

Kate Harrison joins Cream as its new head of production. Harrison spent five years as the VP of Peace Arch Motion Pictures, and prior to that she did a two-year stint in the Vancouver office of Telefilm Canada. 

 

Cream’s long-time senior producer Stephen Milton has been promoted to the post of creative director for science and history Programming. Milton will continue with his senior producer duties while also overseeing creative on all of Cream’s science and history output. He is presently working with Cream’s creative team on four additional Aftermath specials, as well as overseeing Cream’s latest big history special, Convoy.

 

"Cream doubled its production output in 2007/08, and is on track to double it once again in 2009/2010," said the company’s co-founder and executive producer, David Brady. "As we expand, it is very important for us to stay true to our roots even while we diversify across some new genres and with new clients. I believe that the personnel changes we are making and plan to make will allow us to do this well."
