Lifestyle Programs Deliver for Portfolio

TORONTO: Portfolio Entertainment has signed broadcast deals for 200 hours of lifestyle programs, including a trio of culinary series hosted by Chef Michael Smith.

Ananey Communications in Israel acquired seasons three and four of Chef At Home, following Smith in his home kitchen; three seasons of Chef At Large, totaling 39 half-hour episodes that feature Smith as he travels to meet other skilled chefs; and Saturday Night, a one-hour special that goes behind the scenes with the chef from the moment he wakes up to the busiest hours of his night.

Pyramid Entertainment scooped up for Kuwait 131 half-hour episodes of Chef At Home and all five seasons of Chef At Large, totaling 65 half-hour episodes. The Living Channel in New Zealand went for 26 half-hour episodes of Chef At Home.

Romania’s Antena4, meanwhile, will import 52 half-hour episodes of French Food At Home, in which host Laura Calder makes cooking French food easy. Chellozone Media/Zone Club for Europe, the Middle East and African territories opted for two different lifestyle series: Mansions and D-Sign.
