ABC Lines Up Comedies

LOS ANGELES: The new series In the Motherhood will join Samantha Who? in headlining ABC’s Thursday night comedy block. 

Airing Thursdays at 8 p.m., In the Motherhood stars Will & Grace‘s Megan Mullally and Cheryl Hines of Curb Your Enthusiasm in a comedy that looks at the importance of family and friends while trying to juggle motherhood, work and love. Following at 8:30 p.m., Samantha Who? returns with new adventures for the amnesia-struck Samantha Newly, played by Christina Applegate. The series premiere on March 26. 

Scrubs, which took the leap over from NBC, will launch in a Wednesday 8 p.m. time slot on March 18, followed by the new office comedy Better Off Ted, about a research-and-development executive at a morally questionable company. The Bachelor will continue on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m., leading into True Beauty. Ugly Betty will return to Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. following the run of In the Motherhood and Samantha Who?
