Mattel Named Master Toy Licensee for The Secret Saturdays

ATLANTA, December 15: Cartoon Network Enterprises has
appointed Mattel as the global master toy licensee for its original
fantasy-adventure series The Secret
Saturdays
.

Mattel will manufacture, market and sell a wide range of
toys inspired by the new series, including action figures, playsets and
role-play items. The new product line is slated for delivery for fall 2009. The Secret Saturdays follows a family of
world-saving adventure scientists who cross the globe on various adventures.
The boy-skewing series airs on Cartoon Network in the U.S.

"Following in the footsteps of Ben 10, The Secret Saturdays is Cartoon Network's next big original series that promises to deliver boys
both on air and at retail," said Christina Miller, the VP of Cartoon
Network Enterprises. "We are thrilled to extend our strategic partnership
with Mattel to create a range of products that will capture the tone and essence
of the series."
