Fraggle Rock to Make Canadian Debut

NEW YORK, December 10: HIT
Entertainment, The Jim Henson Company and TELETOON have teamed up to bring the
iconic series Fraggle Rock to
TELETOON Retro in Canada.

The digital specialty
channel, which has more than 5 million subscribers, will launch the first
season of Fraggle Rock on September
1. The show, which features a group of quirky cave-dwelling creatures in a
subterranean community, will air daily at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

25th Anniversary than a launch on TELETOON Retro?" said Andrea Carpenter, the VP of HIT Entertainment for Canada.
"The network, with its loyal following of both kids and adults, is the
perfect home for Fraggle Rock—a

parents will love sharing the antics of the fun Fraggles with their
