Strong Sales for Bavaria’s Storm of Love

MUNICH/CANNES, October 15: Bavaria Media has sold an
additional batch of 200 episodes of its hit telenovela Storm of Love to broadcasters in five countries: Slovakia’s STV,
Latvia’s TV3, Estonia’s TV3, Lithuania’s LTV and Italy’s Mediaset/Rete 4.

Further deals for Storm of Love have been inked with BHT 1 Bosnia and Herzegovina,
which opted for episodes 101 to 313, and with Albania’s Media Vizion, where
viewers will now be able to watch the telenovela up to episode 670.

Negotiations with Finnish Sub-TV to extend its run for Storm
of Love up to episode 314 are under way,
while Belgium’s Vitaya just started airing the first 120 episodes in September.

“International broadcasters quickly realized that Storm
of Love is just a terrific show to have,”
said Oliver Kreuter, the head of television at Bavaria Media. “We are
especially proud that Storm keeps
delivering great ratings in all these diverse markets.”

There are now a total of 870 episodes of Storm of Love available.
