Marvel in Canadian Output Deal

TORONTO, October 14: Beginning in spring 2009, first-run
shows based on Marvel Animation characters like Iron Man, The Avengers and Wolverine will air on TELETOON networks in Canada in both English and French.

Marvel will deliver a minimum of 182 episodes of first-run
animation for linear broadcast as well as for platforms such as broadband, VOD,
mobile and additional online opportunities. The Marvel series will air on TELETOON in the Sunday morning action
block and be stripped after school in the weekday schedule. Marvel stunts and
specials will also be aired in the evening TELETOON Detour block.

The agreement builds on an existing relationship between the
two companies that already sees TELETOON and TELETOON Retro air Marvel shows
such as the classic Spider-Man, the new
series The Spectacular Spider-Man
and films such as The Ultimate Avengers, The Invincible Iron Man, Captain America and X-Men.

“Superheroes have always been key demo winners on TELETOON,”
said Len Cochrane, the president of TELETOON Canada. “This partnership with
Marvel is central to building our dominance with boys 2 to 11 and attracting
more young adults who have grown up with the Marvel Universe.”

“With this announcement, Marvel Animation and TELETOON are
now the clear home for superheroes across all of Canada for many years to
come,” added Eric Rollman, the president, of Marvel Animation. “This commitment
by TELETOON and Marvel will allow all of our partners in licensing and at
retail to lock in long-range planning strategies further strengthening the
Marvel brand as we continue building awareness across all media platforms.”
