Several international TV and film stars will be on hand to help promote

Two committed actors will
help promote issue-driven documentaries. British actor Jude Law (Gattaca, The Talented Mr. Ripley) traveled to Afghanistan with compatriot Jeremy
Gilley, the director of the The Day
After Peace, a BBC/Passion
Pictures/Peace One Day production, distributed by 3DD Entertainment. American
star Adrian Grenier (Entourage,
The Devil Wears Prada) is the
executive producer of Alter Eco, the environment-themed documentary series
produced and distributed by GRB Entertainment.

German actor Sebastian
Koch (The Lives of Others),
Canadian actress Neve Campbell (The Company), British actor Stephen Campbell Moore (The History Boys) and British director Mike Barker (A Butterfly
on a
Wheel) will be at MIPCOM to present Jack London’s Sea
Wolf
, a TV event mini-series
produced by Tele München/Clasart in association with Gate Filmproduktion with
ZDF and RHI, and distributed by Tele München’s new sales arm, TMG
International.

British actress Jane
Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman),

Spanish talent including Monica Cruz and Miguel Angel Munoz, both stars in Un Paso Adelante, will participate in the Focus on Spain at MIPCOM.

From down under,
Australian actors Diana Glenn and Tony Poli will promote Carla Cametti PD, a new crime drama from Buon Giorno Productions,
developed with the assistance of SBS Television, Screen Australia and Film

Among crime series, Taggart is one of the longest running on British
television. It will celebrate its 25th birthday at MIPCOM in
the presence of the main cast, Blythe Duff, John Michie, Alex Norton and Colin
McCredie. Taggart is produced
by Scottish Television Enterprises and distributed by Target.

Successful formats are
launched every year at MIPCOM. This year, Benjamin Castaldi, a popular French
TV host and producer, will present the French version of Beat Your Host, a Raab TV/Brainpool format distributed by
Germany’s SevenOne International. And the mentalist Uri Geller will also be in
town to support another hit from the German distributor, The Successor (SevenOne International, Keshet Broadcasting,
