UKTV Stocks Entertainment Channels

LONDON, September 18: UKTV
is set to launch its new entertainment channels Watch, Alibi and G.O.L.D. this
fall, with lineups that include series like Richard and Judy’s New Position and Blackadder: The Whole Rotten Saga.

Richard and Judy’s New
Position
will debut on Watch on
October 7 at 8 p.m. Dancing with the Stars, Mistresses, The
Street
, Cranford, Planet Earth and Krakatoa are also set to air on Watch. Murdoch Mysteries will launch on Alibi in February 2009, while comedy
channel G.O.L.D. (Go On Laugh Daily) will showcase Blackadder: The Whole
Rotten Saga.
The show features
well-known names, including Miranda Richardson, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and
Richard Curtis, coming together for the first time to reveal a unique insight
into this iconic comedy.

UKTV’s male-skewing
channel Dave has a fall schedule that includes Argumental, a panel show that encourages argument; Batteries
Not Included
, a look at the world
of gadgets; and Car of the Year 2008, which returns for its fifth year. Dave commissioned a new
4×30-minute series that reunites all the cast members of Red Dwarf, to air in
2009.

Matthew Littleford, UKTV’s
