DOC Bolsters Exec Staff

NASHVILLE, August 27:
Documentary Channel (DOC) has promoted Kate Pearson and Barry Rubinow to senior
VPs of their respective programming and creative services departments.

Pearson, based in
Nashville, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of programming for the
network from licensing to original production. She previously worked for HBO
Latin America, where she acquired content for the company’s six digiplex
channels.

Rubinow, in addition to
managing DOC’s Los Angeles office, is responsible for overseeing all original
production and post-production for the network, as well as the design and
production of DOC’s promotional campaigns with the motion graphics department.
Before joining DOC, he was a supervising editor and post-production supervisor
for shows on NBC, CBS, Turner and Discovery.

Both executives will
report Tom Neff, DOC’s founder and CEO.
