TEL AVIV, August 21: Dori Media has released its financials
for the first half of 2008, with revenues up 119 percent to $27.8 million and a
profit after tax of $3.5 million, an 86-percent gain on the prior-year period.

EBITDA, meanwhile, was up 86 percent to $8.4 million, and
earnings per share gained 56 percent to $0.14.

Telenovela broadcasting and format rights sales were up 126
percent to $11.9 million, while revenues from its TV channels were up to $14
million. Video and music CD ancillary merchandising revenues, however, fell to
$1.4 million, in line with company expectations.

Looking ahead, revenues of between $20 million and $22.5
million are forecast for 2008. Plans for the company include a new-media
destination for telenovelas, a slate of new properties for MIPCOM, further
collaboration with Televisa and continued expansion of Ginx TV in Asia and
Latin America.

Nadav
Palti, the president and CEO of Dori Media Group, stated: “We are very
pleased to be reporting another strong set of results, where we have
demonstrated our ability to significantly grow revenues whilst maintaining
strong margins and high levels of profitability. Our group revenues more than
doubled to $27.8 million during the period and this is mainly attributable to
the success of the movie and entertainment channels on HOT in Israel. We
continue to diversify our income streams and international sales account for a
very high proportion of group sales, with sales in new territories in Africa
and Asia now also showing very healthy levels of growth.”

Palti continued: “The first half of the year has been a very
exciting period in terms of the sales of telenovela content. The telenovela
genre is becoming more and more popular and we are selling content to new
markets on a regular basis.”

He concluded: “We continue to explore innovative ways of
producing content including the development of our online telenovelas and a
commercial Internet website which, given the success of our YouTube partner
channels, we expect to be a big hit with telenovela fans worldwide.”
