ITN, Dailymotion Sign Content Deal

LONDON, August 21: ITN’s multimedia division, ITN On, is set
to deliver five new channels to the independent video-sharing site Dailymotion:
ITN News, ITN Entertainment, ITN Sport, ITN Music, Games and Gadgets and OMG.

The new content produced by ITN On for Dailymotion includes
the Games and Gadgets channel, which features T3 Gadget Show, produced in association with T3 magazine. The weekly program looks at the latest
gadgets on the market with expert opinion and advice from T3’s own team of journalists. ITN On’s video-games news
and reviews program, Gamerzine TV,
is also available on the Games and Gadgets channel.

ITN On is the first U.K. news partner to launch on Dailymotion,
providing the latest stories as they break on the ITN News page. The channel
also features YouNews, a daily program
that brings together news stories, virals and video content. ITN On is
supplying a daily environmental news bulletin for the service as well.

The OMG channel features off-beat news stories and And
Finally clips from ITN’s video archive, as
well as This is Genius, a
compilation of some of the strangest videos from the week. The ITN
Entertainment channel features Bollywood Insider and Showbiz Hot Five, a reverse countdown of the biggest celebrity
stories of the day. There is also a music service, which provides a daily
stream of the latest music news and exclusive artist interviews.

The service is funded by advertising across channel pages
with revenue shared between ITN On and Dailymotion.

Bryce Currie, the sales director of ITN On, said: “We’re
producing a diverse range of programming for Dailymotion’s global audience.
It’s a great way for us to showcase the depth and breadth of our new content
and extend the ITN brand into new genres and territories.”
