Nick Jr. Preschool Series Returns for Second Season

NEW YORK, August 6: Nick
Jr.’s Emmy Award-winning animated preschool comedy series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! will return for a second season with a new
character and special guest stars—figure skating champion Michelle Kwan
and TV personality Ty Pennington.

The network will kick off
the show’s return with a week of new episodes airing August 18 through August
22 at 8 a.m., starting with the premiere of Who’s That Girl?/Wubbzy’s Big
Move
. The show will broadcast
regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. on Nick Jr. and throughout the
day on Noggin.

In the new season, Wubbzy,
Widget and Walden go on new comical adventures and meet the new girl in town,
Daizy, who lives in a flower-shaped house next door to Wubbzy. Kwan will be the
voice of renowned athlete and Wubblympics record-holder Michelle Kwanzzleberry,
and Pennington (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) will be the voice of Ty Ty the Handy Guy.

In Who’s That Girl?, Wubbzy is excited when a fun new neighbor moves in
next door. Wubbzy’s Big Move
features Wubbzy moving to the Wubb Club but soon finding that everything is
going wrong.

The network will roll out
the new content beginning August 11 with a two-minute sneak peak of the
season’s premiere episode available on Nick Jr. Video, a broadband video
service available on the channel’s website, and through wireless carriers. Both
platforms also will feature animated shorts, and Nick Jr. Video will have
instant replays of the premiere week episodes.

Nick Jr.’s website will
feature an interactive game and activities to complement the season’s launch,
such as Daizy's Kickity-Kick Ball
game where kids can go online and play as Daizy or Wubbzy.

Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! is produced by Bolder Media for Boys and Girls
with Starz Media and created by Emmy Award-winning Bob Boyle, the producer for
Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents
and Danny Phantom.
