Steve Mosko Extends Sony Pictures Contract to 2012

CULVER CITY, July 31:
Steve Mosko has signed a long-term contract with Sony Pictures Entertainment
(SPE), extending his employment as the president of Sony Pictures Television
(SPT) through 2012.

Mosko has led the largest
remaining independent television studio since 2001. Under his oversight are
programming and production of content in all genres, traditional and digital
distribution of all of SPE’s film, television and short-form content, and
current and library and advertiser sales. Mosko also oversees the studio’s
interests in FEARnet, the number one horror/thriller website and VOD service;
Crackle.com, SPE's online video network; GSN, cable’s game-show network; and
ITN Networks, a national media sales company. Mosko joined SPE in 1992 as the
VP of the western region for Columbia TriStar Television Distribution.

With more than 25 programs
in production, SPT recently received 29 Emmy nominations, the most in the
studio’s history. Some of the programs currently in production include Wheel
of Fortune
, Jeopardy!, Damages, Rescue Me, Breaking
Bad
, 'Til Death, Rules of Engagement, Ten Items or Less, My Boys, Sit Down, Shut Up, The
Boondocks
, The Beast, The Young and the Restless and shows for The Minisode Network.
