Parthenon Secures Rights to China Doc

LONDON, July 25: Parthenon
Entertainment has picked up the distribution rights to the documentary China:
Land of Dope and Glory
.

Through research and
undercover reporting, the program examines China’s policy regarding
performance-enhancing drugs for athletes. The documentary originally aired July
21 on ARD1 in Germany as Summer Olympics—Flying High in the Middle
Kingdom—Doping in China
.

Peter Pas, the commercial
director of Parthenon Entertainment, said: “We couldn’t be more energized by
the attention that the show has already received following its debut on air in
Germany. The program delves deeply into a controversial world of deception and
politics, and uncovers shocking practices in the world of high-performance
