Zoo Games to Develop Wii Game for Deal or No Deal

SICKLERVILLE, July 23: Zoo
Games will develop a Nintendo Wii video game to be released in November based
on the Endemol franchise Deal or No Deal.

While the video game will
follow the format of the television show and feature Howie Mandel, new game
modes and mini-games such as Million Dollar Mission and Double or Nothing will be added. Selecting cases, choosing deal or
no deal and other on-screen options utilize the point-and-click controls of the
Wii remote. Players also will be able to use their custom-made Wii characters
as unique game contestants.

The deal was facilitated
by Joy Tashjian Marketing Group and Zoo Games’ licensing agent, 360ep. This is
the newest title in the ongoing collaboration between the two companies.

Deal or No Deal has been a hit for NBC, consistently ranking
number one in its time slot on Monday nights. The show has aired more than 175
new one-hour episodes with more than 200 hours broadcast. The success of the
show has prompted the upcoming launch of a new half-hour syndicated series
where contestants quickly play for cash prizes.

“Endemol, proud of our
history of being family friendly, is very excited to have the Wii version of Deal
or No Deal
releasing,” said Tina
Hoover, the director of production for Endemol USA. “It is the perfect product
extension for the franchise, is timed perfectly for the holiday season, and is
a ‘must have’ for any Wii owners who love the show.”

“Zoo Games is extremely
excited to bring the next installment of the Deal or No Deal franchise into the home for Wii,” said Steve
Newton, the executive VP of Zoo Games. “This updated video-game version of the
wildly popular TV show will be the perfect vehicle for at-home fun with family
and friends. The easy-to-use interactive capabilities of the game system and
the participatory nature of the show make this title an ideal fit for Deal diehards, and gamers of all ages.”
