Dargaud Offers Online Updates on New Garfield Series

PARIS, July 10: Dargaud Media has launched an online blog
charting the production of the new CGI series The Garfield Show, in time for the 30th anniversary
of the classic comic strip.

The
52×11-minute HD series will air on France 3 and on Cartoon Network in Europe,
Asia and South America.

The blog,
located at www.thegarfieldshow-diary.com,
will provide behind-the-scenes updates on the production as well as background
information on the famous orange cat.

Robert Réa,
a prodicer on the series, notes: “Following the presentation of the teaser last
autumn, production of the new Garfield series has been an exciting adventure that
we’re delighted to share with the public via The Garfield Show blog, updated each week.”

Mediatoon
International Distribution, the distributor of Dargaud Media productions, will
screen the first few episodes at MIPCOM.
