The Style Network Ready for U.K. Launch

LOS ANGELES, July 1:
Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) is launching The Style Network on Sky
in the U.K. this month, making the fashion and lifestyle network available to
more than 9.5 million subscribers outside the U.S.

The Style Network will be
featured as part of Sky’s Lifestyle and Culture package. An extensive media
campaign, covering print, online and television, will support the launch,
kicking off the week of July 7. Channel highlights include Style Her Famous, How Do I Look, Dress My Nest, Whose Wedding is it Anway?, Style Star and Stripped. The
Style Network unveiled plans to begin its international rollout in October 2007
and has since launched in Africa, Croatia, Malta, the Middle East, the
Netherlands, Poland and Portugal. Later this month, the channel will be on
offer in Turkey.

launching the E! International Network on Sky some five years ago was extremely
positive and an outstanding success for us," said Kevin MacLellan, the president of CIMG. "We’re confident that we’ll achieve a
similar success story and ratings growth with the U.K. launch of The Style
Network this July."
