Super Channel to Premiere Sordid Lives

EDMONTON, June 24: In a
deal brokered by IMG Entertainment, Super Channel in Canada is set to air the
world premiere of the offbeat comedy Sordid Lives: The Series.

The 12×22-minute show,
which begins airing on SC3 on July 1, is based on a quirky stage play of the
same name, centered on a small-town Texas family. Created by Del Shores, the
series stars Olivia Newton-John, Beth Grant, Rue McClanahan, Caroline Rhea,
Leslie Jordan and Bonnie Bedelia.

“Super Channel is always
looking for unique programming to offer Canadian viewers and we are pleased to
be able to present Sordid Lives: The Series,” said Sandy Perkins, Super Channel’s VP of programming.
“Our goal is to offer more to our subscribers—more programs that can’t be
found anywhere else in Canada.”

stellar cast and guest cameos from a host of big-name celebrities, as well as
