Bullseye TV’s Dixon Takes on New Role

LONDON, June 12:
Zodiak-owned Bullseye TV’s director of production, Delroy Dixon, has been appointed
as its deputy managing director, overseeing the company’s expanding slate of content.

More than 180 half hours
of factual-entertainment programs are currently in production. For the
game-show channel Challenge TV, the company is producing two 30-episode seasons
of the comedy clip show Les Dennis’s Home Video Heroes, narrated
by the comedian, game-show host and reality TV star, with additional commentary
by It’s A Knockout legend
Stuart Hall. This project draws on Bullseye’s and Zodiak’s libraries of some
13,000 home-video clips, including material provided by RTL2 in Germany and DR
in Denmark.

Production has begun on 25
episodes of Sexarama for
Challenge’s sister network, Bravo U.K. Narrated by Temptation Island’s Ed Hall, this takes a look at sex and sexual
behavior across Europe.

On the crime front, truTV
in the U.S. has ordered a fifth season of Bullseye’s prime-time cop series Hot
Pursuit
. For Animal Planet Europe,
Bullseye is currently working on a 20-part follow-up to Animal Crackers, which puts a comedic spin on human and animal
relationships. Also for Animal Planet Europe, the one-hour documentary Trophy
Cats
, featuring felines and owners
of all shapes and varieties, is nearing completion.

Recently delivered and
on-air shows include Ultimate,
consisting of five, 90-minute specials for Bravo narrated by Marc Bannerman; How
It Works
, the science and
technology show for National Geographic; and The Fuzz and Sextastic for Turner Broadcasting’s Nuts TV.
