Adness Scores Deals for Kamen Rider

LOS ANGELES, June 9:
Adness Entertainment has licensed Kamen Rider Dragon Knight to 4Kids Entertainment to air in the U.S. on its
Saturday morning kids’ block on The CW, and has named Bandai America as the
master toy licensee for the series.

The live-action series is
being adapted for the U.S. in high definition with fast-paced action sequences
and CGI special effects. The show follows Kit Taylor, who discovers a
mysterious deck of Advent Cards that give him the power to transform into an
ancient armored warrior called Kamen Rider. Bandai America will launch a global
toy line for the franchise in late 2009, including collectible action figures,
vehicles and role play, targeted at boys aged 6 to 11.
