Televisa Brings Formats to DISCOP

MEXICO CITY, May 30:
Televisa International is heading to DISCOP with several contest-based reality
shows, in addition to its novela slate.

Televisa is offering two
reality-show contests, Searching for Timbiriche, the New Band (Buscando a la Nueva Banda Timbiriche) and
Code FAME (Código FAMA). Searching for Timbiriche, the New Band looks for the successors of the Spanish band
Timbiriche, while Code FAME is
in search of young talent.

The Panther (El Pantera) will also be on offer from Televisa. The 26×1-hour program follows a
man who is looking for the truth after serving five years in prison for a crime
that he didn’t commit. Dumb Girls Don’t go to Heaven (Las Tontas no val al Cielo) joins Dear Enemy (Querida Enemiga) and Don’t Mess with an Angel (Cuidado con el Ángel) on the company’s telenovela slate as well.
