Geronimo Stilton Scores Presale

PARIS, May 28: Taffy
Entertainment has secured its first broadcast presale for the new animated
series Geronimo Stilton with
Radio-Canada, to air in its 2009-2010 schedule.

Based on the children’s
chapter book series of the same name, Geronimo Stilton is produced by Atlantyca Entertainment and MoonScoop Productions, in
association with Mike Young Productions. The 26×22-minute series centers on the
adventures of a mild-mannered mouse and his fearless young nephew.

Atlantyca Entertainment is the original rights holder of the Geronimo
Stilton
brand and all of its character spin-offs. The Geronimo Stilton books are published
worldwide, available in more than 30
languages, including Italian, published by Edizioni Piemme [Mondadori Group];
English, published in the U.S. by Scholastic; French, published by Albin Michel
Jeunesse; and Spanish, by Editorial Planeta.

“The Geronimo Stilton books are loved by kids in Canada and around the
world, so we wanted to bring this wonderful new TV series to our young
audience,” said Cécile Bellemare, the director of
youth, family and lifestyle programming for Radio-Canada. “We anticipate
Geronimo and his friends will be welcomed in homes across the country for many
years to come.”
