Jaman Offers Up Movies for Free Streaming

SAN MATEO, May 16: The
online film portal Jaman.com is making more than 100 high-definition movies available
for streaming on a free, ad-supported basis.

Drawn from Jaman’s
collection of 3,000-plus independent and international films, the titles now
available for streaming include Cool from award-winning director Theo van Gogh; the Sundance 2008 Audience
Award winner Shake Hands with the Devil and the “mockumentary” My Date with Drew, as well as classics like Charade with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, and the
Indian films Dharavi and Main
Zinda Hoon
. New movies will
continue to be added to the portal for streaming. In addition to streaming the
movies for free, users can download them for $1.99.

Jaman has recently
announced content partnerships with studios and distributors such as Arts
Alliance America, BBC Worldwide America and Fortissimo Films.
