Lifetime Inks Agreement with Cox Communications

NEW YORK, May 15: Lifetime
Networks has closed a wide-ranging agreement for Cox Communications to launch
all of the company’s new multiplatform networks.

The deal includes Lifetime
Television HD, Lifetime Movie Network HD, Lifetime On Demand and Lifetime Movie
Network Espanol On Demand. Cox will begin rolling out Lifetime HD, which
features the hit drama Army Wives,
to its customers in June.

Lori Conkling, the
executive VP of distribution for Lifetime Networks, said, "This deal with
Cox underscores the importance of offering women the products and services they
want. Our recent research shows that many women want to add our popular
channels to their high-definition package, with 85 percent of women 18-54
saying they are interested in watching movies in high definition. We look
forward to working with Cox as they make our new services available throughout
the year to their customers."
