Aniboom Expands Internet Presence

SAN FRANCISCO, May 5: The
multiplatform animation network Aniboom has inked partnerships with an
additional five Internet video platforms to bring its content to an online
audience of more than 140 million viewers.

Aniboom’s animations and
cartoons are now available online via Dailymotion, Metacafe, Veoh Networks,
blip.TV and blinkx, following on the successful launch of a branded channel on
YouTube, which has garnered more than 15 million views in its first eight
months.

“Aniboom’s branded online
channels are the true backbone of our business,” said Uri Shinar, the founder
and president of Aniboom. “They allow us to deliver the original content coming
out of our creators’ community to millions of viewers wherever they want to
view it. They broaden our viewer community, which also acts as our focus group,
taking the guesswork out of creating new content for cross-platform
distribution. They also increase the potential revenue for Aniboom and our
creators with more video advertising revenue sources. Aniboom has a huge
resource of 400 to 500 new professional shorts a month, and it’s the fact that
viewers know we’ll have something new and spectacular for them that drives
repeat visits and spurs the unique growth of our branded channels.”
