RPRS Media Partners Launches

BEVERLY HILLS, April 24: The
founding partners of entertainment law firm Raskin Peter Rubin & Simon have
launched RPRS Media Partners, a production, distribution and branding strategic
consultancy serving the global media and entertainment community, led by former
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) agent David Tenzer as managing director.

The new consultancy makes
its official debut as representative of the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles
(IFFLA), a non-profit organization devoted to promoting Indian film and culture
and honoring entertainment industry performers and business executives. Currently
running through April 27 at ArcLight Hollywood, the festival will showcase
Indian cinema, with Choice Prizes awarded for Best Feature, Documentary and
Short Film.

Tenzer will manage RPRS
Media Partners, along with Arnold Peter, a founding partner of the law firm and
former executive with Universal Studios. Additionally, Tenzer will serve as a
partner of the sister law firm. RPRS Media Partners will serve clients seeking
strategic business advice and other professional services that fall outside the
scope of traditional entertainment law. Charter clients include media companies
in the U.S. and in India, Mexico, Canada and Germany.

An entertainment lawyer,
business consultant and content producer, Tenzer served 20-plus years with CAA
in Los Angeles. During his tenure at CAA, he headed television business affairs
and helped establish the agency’s international television business. He is
currently on the Board of Directors of the International Documentary
Association and the Banff World Television Festival, and has previously served
on the boards of the National Association of Television Program Executives
(NATPE) and the Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS).

Raskin Peter’s managing
partner, Gary Raskin, said: “With the
establishment of RPRS Media Partners, we are committed to bringing to clients
strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial approach from a team of experienced
entertainment attorneys who are not only great legal practitioners but also
strategic business advisors and thought leaders in the industry. With his
stellar reputation and experience, David could have joined any firm in
Hollywood. We are honored that David chose to build his practice and future
career at our firm.”
