Globo Heads to Hot Docs

SÃO PAULO/TORONTO, April 17: Following its first presence at MIPDOC in Cannes, Globo TV International is heading to Toronto’s Hot Docs festival, which kicks off today, with a slate of productions, led by a 13-part series highlighting Brazil’s natural resources.

In addition to Globo DOC, produced specifically for the international market, the company is also showcasing the special All My Life, Elis Regina, an International Emmy Arts Documentary nominee that looks at the life of the renowned Brazilian singer, who passed away in 1982.

Also nominated for an International Emmy was the 45-minute news and current-affairs special Hotline: The Massacre of the Cathedral, reconstructing the Candelaria Cathedral massacre in which eight street children were killed.
