UKTV Food Orders New Culinary Travel Series

LONDON, April 11: UKTV
Food has commissioned Hamma & Glamma Productions to produce New British
Kitchen—Torode & Hardeep’s Tour, a new series that sees hosts Hardeep Singh Kohli and John Torode
explore the cuisine of the U.K.’s diverse communities.

Premiering on Monday, May
26 at 9 p.m., the 10×30-minute series follows Kohli (Celebrity Masterchef) as he immerses himself in the food of local
communities, exploring how traditional recipes from different cultures have
been handed down through the generations. Back in the studio, Torode (Masterchef
Goes Large) tries his hand at
cooking up these dishes with a guest chef.

Kitchen—Torode & Hardeep’s Tour will be executive produced by Hamma & Glamma’s William Mann
alongside Steve Grizzell, UKTV’s commissioning editor of factual and factual
entertainment.
