for our international operations,” said Alexey Efimov, the director general of
JSC, Channel One Russia Worldwide. “There was an enormous demand throughout the
Russian-speaking community in the United States for Russian-language children’s
programming. A great number of Russian-speaking families want their kids, from
an early age, to know about the rich traditions and values of Russian culture,
as well as the Russian language. From now on TV Nanny will assist them in
fulfilling these objectives.”
