Shaftesbury Bags Renewals, Sales for Life with Derek

TORONTO, April
2: Shaftesbury Sales Company has closed a number of renewals and new sales for
the live-action kids’ comedy Life with Derek.

The fourth
season has been renewed by Boomerang in U.K.; France 2; Daro Film Distribution
in Central and Eastern Europe; Selectavision in Spain; Disney Channel in
Germany, Italy and Latin America; and Noga in Israel. The third season was
renewed by France 2 and VRAK.TV for French-speaking Canada. New sales on the
series include MediaCorp TV12 Kids Central in Singapore for the first two
seasons.

Life with
Derek has been
translated into more than 14 languages and airs in more than 100 countries
worldwide. The half-hour comedy features a modern blended family that is forced
together, while two teenagers, Casey and Derek, are each determined to be the
one in charge.
