MIPTV Featuring MILIA Keynotes to Spotlight Social Networks

PARIS, March 21: Three
leaders in the world of social media, representing MySpace, Bebo and Creative
Commons, have been tapped to deliver keynote speeches on April 10 at MIPTV
featuring MILIA.

Travis Katz, the managing
director of international for MySpace/Fox Interactive Media; Joanna Shields,
the president of Bebo, which is in the process of being acquired by AOL; and
Joi Ito, the chairman of Creative Commons, will deliver speeches regarding their
vision of entertainment in the age of content-sharing across different
platforms. The speeches will touch on how to monetize content and the current
position of the players involved, including producers, distributors and brands.

In addition to these three
keynotes, two panels will also focus on social networking at MIPTV. One will
cover the theme of marketing and advertising, the other on creativity and new
content formats.
