DISCOP Set for Record Attendance

PARIS/LOS ANGELES,
February 28: DISCOP, which will take place from June 18 to 20 in Budapest, Hungary,
has registered more than 1,100 participants to date, an increase of 22 percent
on the year-ago period.

This year’s delegates will take a further exhibition level, extending
the event to six floors of the Sofitel Atrium Hotel in Budapest. In addition to
individual companies exhibiting at DISCOP, there is a growing presence of
national pavilions with France, Spain, Israel, Korea and Italy already signed
up to this year’s event.

Patrick Jucaud, the general manager of DISCOP, commented: “We are very
excited to confidently predict that DISCOP East will be even larger in 2008, as
our many clients regard the event as one of the key markets in their selling
year. As well as the main distributors from around the world who regularly
attend to have unprecedented access to acquisitions executives from the region,
we are seeing an increasing number of Central and Eastern European (CEE)
distributors who are using the opportunity to sell to their counterparts in
other CEE countries.”
