Benjamin Bear Inks Scandinavian DVD Deal

OTTAWA, February 25:
Norway’s CCV International has acquired the Scandinavian DVD rights from
Canada’s Amberwood Productions for the animated series The Secret World of
Benjamin Bear.

The Secret World of
Benjamin Bear was commissioned by
Canada’s Family Channel and has been licensed to more than 100 territories
worldwide.

Jonathan Wiseman, the VP
of sales and acquisitions at Amberwood, said: “We are delighted to have
licensed the series to CCV for Scandinavia. The series is now being broadcast
in most Scandinavian countries and a DVD deal will further establish Benjamin
with young viewers in this region.”
