Dori Media Hails Successful NATPE

BUENOS AIRES, February 14:
Dori Media Group successfully launched its new romantic comedy series Lalola to Latin American buyers at NATPE last month.

The series, produced by
DMG and based on an idea by Sebastian Ortega for Underground Contenidos, has
been sold to more than 25 countries.

At the market in Las
Vegas, Dori also showcased its Israeli productions, including The Champion, Screenz, Manniquies and In
Therapy
, which are all being dubbed
into Spanish.

José Escalante, the president of Dori Media America, noted: “Dori Media Group is
starting new business when taking new products and original stories to the
Spanish-speaking audience. The interest shown in our formats by the customers
not only on Argentinean productions, but also on Israeli ones, was very high,
and very motivating. As it was also the case in the rise of the number of
buyers from Europe and Asia. For example, in Russia, our formats have cornered
the market of local adaptations. At NATPE, we negotiated deals with Indonesia,
Philippines, Nigeria, Kenya, France, Albania, Russia, Turkey, India and
Malaysia, among others. Additionally, in the weeks to come we will be closing
new sales deals with the tenth of territory representatives who attended the
market.”
