MTV, Verizon Ink VOD Deal

NEW YORK, February 5: MTV
has named Verizon FiOS TV as the exclusive on-demand provider for full episodes
of its new series Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew, which will become available 24 hours after its
initial on-air broadcast.

Additionally, leading up
to the premiere on MTV on February 7 at 10 p.m., Verizon FiOS TV is providing
exclusive access to MTV dance-related content, including step-by-step dance
instructions from contestants featured on America’s Best Dance Crew.

The dance-competition
series, which is executive produced by American Idol judge Randy Jackson, shows off the skills of a
group of dancers, who week after week either get eliminated or move closer to
winning a cash prize and touring contract. Mario Lopez (Dancing with the
Stars
) will host and judges JC
Chasez (N*Sync), hip-hop artist Lil Mama and choreographer Shane Sparks (You
Got Served
) will evaluate the
dance crews.

the live linear premiere.”
