ImpreMedia and V-me Partner on Election Coverage

NEW YORK, January 31:
Hispanic news and information outlet ImpreMedia and V-me
have entered into a collaboration to inform and engage Latino voters in the
U.S. through combined election coverage and news teams, beginning on February
5—Super Tuesday—and continuing through the 2008 presidential
campaign.

The partnership will
combine elements of ImpreMedia’s VOTO LATINO 08 and V-me’s PARTICIPA 2008
presidential campaign initiatives, beginning on Super Tuesday, when V-me’s live
PARTICIPA 2008 primary special will feature reports and features from
ImpreMedia. The special will begin at 10 p.m. from PARTICIPA’s election
headquarters in New York, and V-me’s Jorge Gestoso will host a team of senior
political analysts and experts on Hispanic electoral issues.

As the campaigns continue,
future specials are planned for the national conventions and election night, as
well as weekly programming featuring analysis of defining themes facing
America’s voters, both inside and outside of the Latino community. Using
ImpreMedia’s reporters and analysts, along with extensive polls of Latino
voters, V-me will combine print, online and broadcast coverage of issues facing
the nation

As part of ImpreMedia’s
VOTO LATINO 2008, the news outlet has six journalists embedded with national
candidates in both parties, reporters covering seven critical battleground
states with large Hispanic voting populations, presence at both national
conventions and full campaign coverage for the general election.

"With the
unprecedented impact of the Latino vote in 2008, our media has a responsibility
to empower the community with quality journalism across TV, print and the
Internet," said Carmen DiRienzo, the president of V-me Media. “V-me is
proud to bring our national TV platform into a partnership with ImpreMedia to
deliver comprehensive information to Hispanic voters.”

"ImpreMedia's news
and information connection to the Hispanic community is unparalleled, and our
commitment to inform and engage this key audience is demonstrated with this
partnership," said John Paton, the CEO of ImpreMedia."
