Sony, ReelTime Rentals in New Content Deal

SEATTLE, January 23: Sony Pictures Television has agreed to
provide a selection of feature films to the broadband rental and subscription
service ReelTime Rentals.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sony Pictures will provide
ReelTime with feature films spanning new releases such as Spider-Man 3 and Superbad, animated family movies such as Surf’s Up and a multi-genre library of titles, including Taxi
Driver
, Dr. Strangelove, Blackhawk Down and Starship Troopers,
along with many other popular films.

Mike Arrieta, the executive VP of digital distribution and
mobile entertainment for Sony Pictures Television, remarked: “ReelTime’s IRDS
delivery platform is a compelling distribution outlet. We are pleased to find
another high-quality way for consumers to gain access to our content via this
format.”

Added Mark Cramer, the COO of ReelTime, “While Sony Pictures
Entertainment has always been a true pioneer in the world of content creation,
they were also one of the first major Hollywood studios to understand the
importance of—and make a commitment to—fostering the digital
distribution of content. Our partnership with Sony Pictures Television
