World Screen Unveils TV Real and TV Real Weekly

NEW YORK, January 14: WSN INC., the leading publishing group
for the international media industry, is renaming its factual programming
brand, TV Docs, as TV Real, and is set to launch a new weekly online newsletter
covering the world of unscripted content.

TV Real makes its
debut at MIPTV in time for MIPDOC and Hot Docs. The premiere edition, replacing
the eight-year-old publication TV Docs, will include features on lifestyle content, science documentaries and
celebrity-based programming. It will appear in World Screen, alongside TV Europe, TV Kids,
TV Formats, TV Latina, TV Asia Pacific and TV Listings, and as a separate magazine with its own publication bin at the
market.

Coinciding with this rebranding initiative, World Screen is launching TV Real Weekly, a new online newsletter, on February 6. Delivered
to your inbox every Wednesday, TV Real Weekly will profile sales and development executives and
filmmakers working in the factual-content market.

Announcing the launch, Anna Carugati, World Screen’s group editorial director, said: “We are proud and
excited to offer our readers more in-depth coverage of factual programming. The
producers, filmmakers and distributors working within this genre often exhibit
passion and determination that is unequaled in other TV genres—and this
will undoubtedly make for interesting and useful reading.”

TV Real Weekly is the
latest online offering from WSN INC. and comes on the heels of the launch of
World Screen Jobs, a classifieds service dedicated to the international media
industry. It is the company’s seventh e-mail newsletter, following World
Screen Newsflash
, Diario TV
Latina
, World Screen Weekly, TV Kids Weekly, TV Latina Semanal and
TV Niños Semanal
.

WSN INC.’s online portfolio also includes the flagship
WorldScreen.com, the Spanish-language TVLatina.tv, the video portals
WorldScreenings.com and TVLatinaScreenings.com, and a host of targeted web
pages, plus audio interviews, an archive of channel profiles and a program
listings service, TVListings.ws.
